Niue’s annual bike race event, consisting of two different bike races spread across two days (previously called Round the Rock and Rally of the Rock).
The first race on 6 June 2016, consists of 5 x 8km speed stages through the centre of the island, where riders leave at 1 minute intervals (like a blind car rally) and compete against the clock, the heat and their mates.
This event is followed by the second bike race, held on the 8th of June 2016, a 60km flat-out speed race where cyclists ride right around the outer ring road of the Island. A sightseeing tour in disguise!
So come along for a whole week of indulgence for cycle enthusiasts to share with like-minded, slightly competitive types in Niue. A wonderful opportunity to cycle tropical bush trails at speed, and ride flat out on virtually vehicle-free roads.
